Borehole well challenge up and running

Borehole well challenge up and running

These children at Seranana will no longer have to go through this arduous process when the new well arrives in their village

Our challenge of funding 120 wells in communities in Madagascar is off the ground, with six currently underway or nearing completion, all thanks to the generosity of our donors.

The latest additions to the programme of two new borehole wells at Seranana village and school, thanks to Silverbridge Solutions, and a new borehole well for the community at Tearomihila thanks to John and Karen Trew, are yet more examples of how our partnership with supporters is making a difference to people in Madagascar who previously did not have access to clean and safe water, something we take for granted and yet 50% of the population of the country is without.

A new borehole well costs £3000 but any contribution is greatly received as we aim to hit our target.

We will pair, group or combine donors, including Adsum's own contribution, to make up any shortfall in the total for each individual well, and donors will also receive detailed information on which community their money has gone towards helping. So there really is no such thing as a small donation and we will keep you informed along the way!

Please go to our Virgin Money Giving page for more information and to make a donation today.

Thanks!
