NEW Madagascar themed Eco-School Resources

NEW Madagascar themed Eco-School Resources

The Adsum Foundation are delighted to have played a small part in the development of new and exciting Eco-Schools teaching resources "Madagascar and Me" which are now available on the Eco-Schools NI website

The resources developed by Dr. Sue Christie are suitable for both Primary and Post-Primary use. The sessions provide an enjoyable, interactive, cross-curricular approach to an array of Eco-Schools topics.

The materials use facts, figures, infographics and loads of photos to illustrate how life in Madagascar relates to the major Eco-Schools topics and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The first lesson on Deforestation (available now) corresponds to International Day of Forests on 21st March; the next, Water Is Life, will be available for World Water Day on 22nd March.  Other topics will be rolling out regularly, including Biodiversity, Climate Change, Agriculture, Soils and Energy in the first year.

The materials are still under development, so we would welcome your feedback!

The Adsum Team would like to thank and congratulate long-term friend, Dr. Sue Christie, on developing this wonderful resource!
