Final push for six new school buildings
Work is nearing completion on six new school buildings in Madagascar as the start of the school year looms large.
Through our partner the Madagascar Development Fund, the building teams in the communities of Sahafitana (two blocks), Andoharanovelona, Ankadivory, Sandrangato and Ambohitrangano have been taking advantage of the mild winter weather and are well on course to have them finished close to the start of the school year, and importantly before the rains come.
Clean and safe water is also being addressed and wells added to those schools which do not yet have it.
Add in the fact that our Education4Life programme that will bring teacher training, hygiene and market garden training to our schools is due to start in Autumn, and it is an exciting time for Adsum's involvement with education in Madagascar!
